It also supposes the popular Z71 off-road package on the Silverado 2500HD – a model not offered by the factory. It’s powered by the 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V-8 and a six-speed Allison transmission.

The bed and tonneau cover of the Silverado 3500HD crew cab open to reveal a makeshift stage, complete with lighting and power for microphones and amplifiers. The Chevy Suburban HD Z71 is the culmination of a “what if” exercise that melds the popular Suburban 2500HD with the popular Z71 off-road package – a combination not currently offered by the factory – and partners it with a new, fuel-saving smaller-displacement diesel engine. The concept uses many production parts, including the front-end assembly from Chevy’s HD trucks, along with some unique custom touches – including rear wheel flares that pick up the styling cues of the front end. Power is generated by a new 4.5L diesel engine that gives this off-road-ready Suburban power, poise and efficiency.

2001-2003 Chevrolet Silverado Ignition Distributor System Corrosion Inspect/Replace
General Motors has decided to conduct a Voluntary Emission Recall involving certain 2001-03 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra model vehicles, equipped with a 4.3L V6 (RPO L35 – VIN W or RPO LU3 – VIN X) engine. The ignition distributor cap and rotor in these vehicles may corrode and cause ignition system failure. This condition may result in rough engine idle, misfire, stalls, engine cranks but does not run and/or illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL).

Custom DashHawk Install on Cadillac CTS using ProClip Hardware
I came upon this companies hardware while looking for a car mount for my Motorola Q. I wanted something beyond the normal universal mounts. ProClip uses a 2 piece system. The vehicle mounts are custom to that vehicle. Depending on the car model they will usually list multiple location options. You then pick the hardware mount for you specific phone, iPod, etc. Most are offered with or with- out a swivel option.
