Directions
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of squealing or squeaking
noises when steering in both directions when the engine is warm, the cause may be due
to insufficient lubrication at the radial shaft sealing ring in the control head.
Note :The additive Lubrizol 6178 must only used up to a certain steering gear serial
number (see list). This restriction applies to models 203120912111220 without ABC. The
additive must no longer be used as of steering gear serial number stated below. If the
additive Lubrizol 6178 is poured into a steering gear after the steering gear serial
number stated below, damage to the steering gear is possible.

Aluminum Rail Replacement on a 2004 and Newer 5 Series BMW
A 2004 BMW 5 Series BMW has been in an accident. The left rail has a golf ball size bend in it about 10 inches from the front end cap & the right rail is swayed out by 15 mm. Estimator A writes an estimate to pull the front end of the vehicle and repair both rails. Estimator B writes an estimate to pull the front end and replace the left rail.

Dodge 5.9L Cummins CP3 High Pressure Fuel Injection Pump
Removing your old pump
Note: Do your best to keep all components as clean as possible.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cables from all batteries.
2. Remove the intake manifold (above injection pump) and its hose.
3. Remove the 5 ECM (Engine Control Module) mounting bolts (located on the lower left side of the engine block towards the front). Do NOT disconnect the wiring connectors from the ECM.

Identifying Power Steering Reservoir Outlet Hose At Power Steering Pump
1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement – Front in Body Front End.
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Remove the power steering pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pulley Replacement.
4. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
5. Disconnect the power steering pressure line from the power steering pump.
6. Remove the power steering cooler outlet hose from the power steering reservoir
7. Remove the power steering pump to power steering pump bracket bolts.
8. Remove the power steering pump from the power steering pump bracket.

1. Mount the (20151-A) Power Steering Bracket & water pump to engine block using two (S275) 3/8-16 x 4.1/4” SHCS & two (TP3-1.980) spacers (between (20151-A) Power Steering Bracket & water pump) (fig. 1).
2. If your power steering pump came equipped with a mounting stud at the rear of the pump, use an 11/16” wrench to remove the mounting stud from the pump unit (fig. 2)

Self-Priming Engine Cooling Pump Model 50410-Series
This pump is designed to mount directly inside the crank-shaft pulley on Chevrolet small block (305 & 350 C.I.) engines. The maximum recommended pump speed (engine speed) is 5200 RPM. The maximum recommended discharge pressure should not exceed 10 PSI. When the pump is installed so it operates at or near maximum speed, the inlet plumbing must be designed to minimize the vacuum at the pump inlet. A high speed scoop over the inlet thru-hull fitting is recommended to reduce inlet vacuum.
