TEST 1. Turn the ignition OFF. 2. On the Accord, remove the screws securing the underdash fuse box to its mount. Remove the fuel cut‐off relay from the back of the fuse block and turn the block so you can see the relay mount. Use a jumper wire to connect the two left‐most terminals of the relay mount (terminal 1 to terminal 2). 3. 1. Disconnect the negative battery cables from all batteries.
2. Remove the intake manifold (above injection pump) and its hose.
3. Remove the 5 ECM (Engine Control Module) mounting bolts (located on the lower left side of the engine block towards the front). Do NOT disconnect the wiring connectors from the ECM.

Identifying Power Steering Reservoir Outlet Hose At Power Steering Pump
1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement – Front in Body Front End.
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Remove the power steering pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pulley Replacement.
4. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
5. Disconnect the power steering pressure line from the power steering pump.
6. Remove the power steering cooler outlet hose from the power steering reservoir
7. Remove the power steering pump to power steering pump bracket bolts.
8. Remove the power steering pump from the power steering pump bracket.
