The latest manifestation of the unique BMW-ALPINA synergy is the B7, based on the BMW 7 Series luxury sedan. Currently, BMW offers ultra-performance models of its 3, 5, 6 and Z4 Series developed by BMW M, BMW’s own performance subsidiary. BMW M’s automobiles have specific performance character, typified by high-revving engines and manual or sequential-manual (SMG) transmissions. For an ultra-performance version of the 7 Series – a platform that is defined by lavish luxury and generous interior space and offered only with an automatic transmission – something other than “M” performance character was called for.

Audi JBR ULTRA-LITE Flywheel/Clutch/TOB Instruction Sheet

Please read this instruction sheet in its entirety before starting this process.
1. Remove the stock flywheel and clutch from the engine.
2. Now might be a good time to check and/or change the rear crank seal.
3. Remove the stock TOB and bobbin from the stock clutch arm.
4. With a small screwdriver, remove the clips that hold the TOB to the plastic hub.
5. Save the plastic hub as it will be re-used. Discard the stock TOB and the clips.
6. There are no modifications required to the plastic hub. (must be cleaned)
7. Install the new TOB and spacer supplied onto the stock plastic hub. A press works well or you can press the two parts together in a vise. Read more

• Enable designers to project and display large-scale, computer-rendered graphics of the company’s vehicle line up in a way that made the images “come to life.”
Solution
• Ford teamed with IGI, a large-sale display solution designer, and equipped its facilities with Sony’s ultra-high definition, SXRD 4K projectors.
• For Ford’s Electronic Design Presentation Room, IGI installed a 60-feet wide Powerwall equipped with three SRX-S110 SXRD 4K projectors, which produce 10,000 ANSI lumens each and produce 8.8 million pixels per unit. In their Advanced Visualization Center, they installed two additional SRX-S110 SXRD 4K projectors for two separate screens, which are used for full-scale viewing of vehicle designs.

The iconic BMW M1 celebrated its 30th birthday last month and to mark this special occasion, the German car maker has reinterpreted this mid-engined classic with ultra modern styling cues.

A new, ultra-modern four-cylinder TFSI engine with a displacement of 1.4 litres and turbocharger can now be ordered for the Audi A3 and A3 Sportback. The 1.4 TFSI engine delivers 92 kW (125 bhp) at 5,000 rpm. Its maximum torque of 200 Nm is available across an unusually wide speed range of 1,500 to 4,000 rpm.

Audi’s engineers have long been demonstrating the effectiveness of FSI technology in combination with turbocharging both on the world’s racetracks and on the road. The prime example of this is the “Engine of the Year” award with which a jury of experts crowned the 2.0 TFSI in 2007 for the third time in succession.
