1. Removal of the original bumper:
Remove all screws which hold the bumper. Also remove the screws which hold the alloy bar and remove the bumper with the alloy bar. Remove the alloy bar from the bumper and install it into the new Hofele-Design bumper.
2. Placement of the Hofele-Design front bumper on the car:
Place the new bumper on the car but do not yet bolt it on.
3. Preparation of the bonnet:
Remove the front grill and the rubber strap behind it. Install the front grill (HF 7052-S4 / RS4) in the extension piece.

INSTALLING THE MOUTNING FRAME BRACKETS
1. Remove factory tow hooks from front section of vehicle
2. align driver side mounting bracket to the bottom and outer edge existing holes. Position bracket in manner shown below. See figure 1.1
3. attach mounting frame brackets using the 7/16 x 1 ― hex bolts, 7/16 hex nuts and 7/16 washers. (hand tighten as you may have to move the brackets around slightly, to align the front bar)
NOTE: (2WD MODELS YOU MAY HAVE TO CUT A SPACE IN THE PLASTIC SPOILER FOR THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT BAR UP RIGHTS TO SLIDE THROUGH AND EVENTUALLLY ATTACH TO THE FRAME MOUNTING BRACKETS.

1) Raise hood and disconnect battery.
2) Remove existing intercooler by removing (2) 12mm bolts, and (2) hose clamps. Remove Throttle Body Coupler. (1) hose clamp.
3) Remove intercooler support brackets, (2) 12mm bolts on drivers side bracket, and (2) 12mm bolts on passenger side bracket.
4) Remove intake system up to turbo inlet hose. This includes removing the rubber intake elbow (2 hose clamps), filter box (2 12mm bolt located on chassis), and resonator box (2 10mm nuts). Resonator box can be better reached when bumper is removed.
5) Remove coolant overflow tank (either 2 10mm bolts, or one clip) from radiator & drain into suitable container. NOTE: Coolant will be reused later.

1. Di scard front apron panel Mark and drill one hole.
2. Position riv-nut in crossmember and expand.
3. Fit support plate with one bolt.Mark and drill remaining 9 holes.
4. Fit 4 other riv-nuts to crossmember.
5. From beneath the vehicle cut out radiator cowl.
6. Fit new starter dog to engine
7. Secure support plate and rope guide brackets to bumper and crossmember. Fit Winch to support plate.
8. Apply grease, insert spring assemble drive shaft, and engage with crank dog

OVERHAUL HINT: Overhaul the RH side by the same procedures with LH side.
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID NOTICE: Wash off the brake fluid immediately if it comes into contact with a painted surface.
3. DISCONNECT FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE
a. Remove the union bolt and a gasket from the disc brake cylinder, then disconnect the flexible hose from the disc brake cylinder.
4. REMOVE DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSY FR LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and disc brake cylinder.
5. REMOVE DISC BRAKE PAD KIT FRONT (PAD ONLY)
a. Remove the 2 brake pads with anti-squeal shim.
