-First, test fit the headlight in the cool oven. The lamp should be situated in the center of the oven, away from the heating element. You can use a cookie sheet to shield the light from direct heat.

This cool technology gives us some neat gadgets to install, such as Parrot’s CK3100 hands-free kit. Better get up- to-speed on Bluetooth’s new uses, because it’s moving into new products every year.
Bluetooth, once thought to be relegated only to expensive earpieces owned by the techno-savvy, has expanded. You may see a guy in the airport pull out and unfold a tiny keyboard, then take out a small mouse and switch it on. The funny thing is, there’ll be no computer in sight. Instead, he’ll prop up his PDA, hit a few buttons, and without making any connections or worrying about line-of-sight, he’ll simply start working. Every component will be functioning over a Bluetooth connection. But even in its most common application—cellular hands-free devices—the technology has grown, and if you are in the business of installing Bluetooth-equipped hands-free car kits, this is something your customers need to know.

The iPod will stay powered and charged while the Prius is powered on, and will pause automatically when you switch modes, turn off the audio, or receive a Bluetooth phone call. Text from the iPod will display on the touchscreen to show song, album, artist, and playlist titles. The auxiliary audio input is uncontrolled and not powered. Installing Weld-in Fame Connectors for Major Chassis Upgrading

Corporation’s chassis design was light- years ahead of the competition. From indirect-acting torsion-bar front suspension with long-and-short arms and tension struts, to asymmetric leaf springs, the cars were unparalleled. Even the basic floor pan and chassis was excellent: all A and E-bodies, as well as pre-’73 B-bodies, were true, all-unitized construction. In this arrangement, many components normally thought of as “body” parts are put to work carrying loads and increasing structural rigidity without carrying a weight penalty. Eye opener: If you’ve ever seen a bare frame of a ’60s or ’70s GM car, you’ve likely been amazed. There’s strength in only one plane. Nothing whatsoever is there to resist twisting or bending. No wonder Mopars handled so much better than Chevys—they
