2008 Chevrolet Cobalt

With a broad range of models, offering a variety of well-equipped and sporty choices, the Chevy Cobalt continues to shine as one of the segment’s most popular cars. The Cobalt enters the 2008 model year on the heels of a successful ’07 model year, which introduced several significant enhancements, including more powerful Ecotec engines. For ’08, the Cobalt builds on that powerful foundation with a streamlined model lineup and more standard safety and convenience equipment.

GRIP Chevy Cobalt Body Kit Installation
All GRIP body kits need to be properly sanded and primed before painting, even if the part arrives pre-primed. Failure to properly prepare parts before painting can result in poor paint finish and adhesion. Please prefit parts before painting! Once a part has been painted or modified in any way it cannot be returned.
1: Look over vehicle before installing the body kit to make note of all attachment points on existing fascia. Since GRIP uses all existing attachment points, it is very important not to harm existing mounting holes and / or fasteners. Some fasteners that are drilled out cannot be reused. It is very important to use special care when removing the reusable fasteners from the panels since they will not be provided by GRIP. GRIP only provides non-reusable fasteners with its kits.

Installation Guide for Torrel Disc Brake Conversion Series IL IIA, and III Land Rovers
Installing the Torrel disc brake system in a Series Land Rover is a straight forward process. The existing front drum brakes are removed and the disc brakes are installed using the stub axle bolts that hold the original drum brake backing plate in place. No other modifications to the vehicle are required. The disc brake conversion can be fitted to any Series II, IIA or III Land Rover equipped with 16 inch rims (wheels). The disc brakes work well with the early Series Land Rover single line brake master cylinder (without vacuum assist) although the brake pedal pressure required to stop may be slightly greater than that required with the original drum brake system. The Torrel system also works well with the dual master cylinder, vacuum assist systems supplied on Series Land Rovers from 1970 onwards. The dual line system is a significant improvement to the single line system.
