This guide is designed specifically to swap a 1985-1992 GM TPI EFI system/engine into a 1970-81 Camaro. Though, for the most part, it can be used to swap in a TBI or LT1/LT4 engine/EFI system as well. All three engines install like a conventional engine on the existing motor mounts and they have the same transmission bell housing flange. The newest LS1/LS6 is a completely different animal altogether requiring extensive chassis modifications to install and will not be covered in this article.

The AEM Performance Air Induction System is the result of extensive development on a wide variety of cars. It is the most advanced short pipe air intake system on the market. Each system is specifically engineered for its particular application. All AEM Short Ram Air Intake Systems deliver maximum performance gains through lightweight, all-aluminum, mandrel-bent tubing that is tuned in both length and diameter. The tube length and diameter are matched for each specific engine to give power over a broad RPM range. Honda Civic, Acura Integra Gauge Bezel Models 20010 and 20011 Installation
NOTE: Gauge bezel can be painted using a plastic safe paint.
1. Remove stock gauge bezel.
2. Acura Integra – Drill 7⁄64″ hole in the plastic cross member. Install aluminum bracket (Fig. 1). Bracket stud should align with hole in lower center of gauge bezel. Honda Civic – Remove bottom center screw from gauge cluster housing. Reinstall screw and supplied aluminum bracket (Fig. 2).
