Taking cues from Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s “Big Red” Silverado that debuted at SEMA in 2006, the ‘08 Silverado HD Crew Z71 Big Red demonstrates how that expressive concept’s unique features would look with production-type components. It combines numerous GM Accessories inspired by Earnhardt’s Big Red and features additional custom touches. It also supposes the popular Z71 off-road package on the Silverado 2500HD – a model not offered by the factory. It’s powered by the 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V-8 and a six-speed Allison transmission.

2007 Chevrolet Silverado HD 3500 Crew

The spirit of the country music culture is infused in this rolling sound stage, which has been used at the Country Music Festival and other country music artist venues. The bed and tonneau cover of the Silverado 3500HD crew cab open to reveal a makeshift stage, complete with lighting and power for microphones and amplifiers. A music-inspired graphics package and unique wheels dress up the exterior, while the interior has saddle-like aniline leather trim that is complemented by real wood accents and guitar-style mother-of-pearl inlays.

2007 Chevrolet Suburban HD Z71 Diesel

The Chevy Suburban HD Z71 is the culmination of a “what if” exercise that melds the popular Suburban 2500HD with the popular Z71 off-road package – a combination not currently offered by the factory – and partners it with a new, fuel-saving smaller-displacement diesel engine. The concept uses many production parts, including the front-end assembly from Chevy’s HD trucks, along with some unique custom touches – including rear wheel flares that pick up the styling cues of the front end. Power is generated by a new 4.5L diesel engine that gives this off-road-ready Suburban power, poise and efficiency.

2007 Peugeot 308 Diesel Hybrid (HybrideHDi)

This new 308 Hybrid HDi demonstrator represents another step on the path towards the planned commercialisation of the technology in 2010. Further evaluation of the original Peugeot 307 Hybrid HDi demonstrator in 2006 has confirmed the choice of a diesel engine, instead of a petrol engine, as the best option to provide the best reduction in fuel consumption and emissions.
The demonstrator is powered by Peugeot’s most efficient parallel hybrid powerplant to date, combined with a 6-speed electronically controlled manual gearbox. It has a 110 bhp 1.6 HDi DPFS diesel engine coupled with a 22 bhp electric motor providing a maximum power output of 132 bhp, comparable to that of the 308 with the 2.0 litre HDi DPFS 136 bhp diesel engine. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle is 83 mpg and 90g/km of CO2 or a reduction of 38% compared to an equivalent 308 diesel HDi model.

HP10005 Air Suspension Kit for GMC/Chevrolet 2500 HD/3500 2WD/4WD
This kit includes “push to connect” airline fittings. They require the end of the airline to be round, square and cleanly cut to ensure the internal seal will not leak. The airline must only be cut with a sharp razor knife or hose cutter.
PREASSEMBLY OF THE AIR SPRINGS THE UPPER PLATE
1. Place the upper roll plate (with the rounded side towards the air spring) on the top of the air spring (top being the end with the air port). Repeat on the other air spring.
2. Install the air fittings supplied into the inlet ports of the air springs, use thread sealant to prevent air leaks. The air spring ports will be installed towards the center of the vehicle. The passengers side fitting will point towards the front of the vehicle. Do not over tighten the fittings.
THE UPPER BRACKET
3. Place the drivers side upper mounting bracket on top of air spring aligning the two mounting holes as shown in the photo.
Note: The driver side bracket mounts to the air spring through the elongated holes on each side of the air inlet port cutout. The passenger side bracket mounts to the air spring through the elongated holes opposite the air inlet port cutout.
THE LOWER BRACKET
4 Install the clinch stud into the drivers side lower bracket hole, shown in the photo. This is an interference fit into the bracket. Clinch stud not required on the passengers side lower bracket. 2500 model only (3/4 ton trucks) require a 3/8″ bolt and nut to be installed in both lower brackets as shown. The bolt head is installed opposite the air spring. The nut will fit inside the roll plate cavity. Tighten the nut securely.

For easier assembly and installation, vehicle and all snowplow components should be on a smooth, level, hard surface, such as concrete.
1. Remove license plate bracket and retain for vehicle owner. Remove bumper from bumper brackets. Retain fasteners.
2. Remove bumper brackets from frame. Diesel and V10 applications: On these applications, you must first remove the top two intercooler fasteners. Then push intercooler up and out to provide clearance to remove bumper bracket bolt assembly. Retain fasteners. Vehicles equipped with tow hooks will need tow hooks and tow hook brackets removed. These cannot be reinstalled with plow mount. Retain tow hooks, brackets and fasteners for reinstallation if snowplow is removed.
