2003-2007 Nissan Murano Engine Air Intake Duct Service Bulletin
Nissan is conducting a voluntary safety recall on model year 2003 – 2007 Murano vehicles. Under certain conditions, the intake duct, which is connected to the intermediate resonator in the air intake system of the engine, may separate from the resonator with engine movement. This could cause minor idle fluctuation or poor acceleration. If this occurs, and the vehicle continues to be driven without being serviced, the engine may stall while driving. To remedy this potential condition, Nissan is conducting this voluntary safety recall campaign to replace the air intake duct with an updated part and the air duct clamps with new clamps at no charge for parts or labor.

1. Vehicle Disassembly. (a) Place the Vehicle in Park and have the Parking Brake Set before disconnecting the Battery. (b) Remove the Negative Battery Cable (Fig. 1-1) (1) Protect the Fender before starting. (2) Note the Battery Cable position, as it will be re- installed in the same position. CAUTION: Do not touch the positive terminal. (c) Remove the Glove Box Under Cover. (Fig. 1-3) (1) Begin by protecting the Vehicle Interior with Blankets. (d) Remove the Passenger’s Step Cover. (Fig. 1-4) (e) Remove the Passenger’s Cowl Cover. (Fig. 1-5) (1) Remove 1 Nut. (f) Remove 2 Bolts from the Glove Box, then open the Glove Box Door. (Fig. 1-6) (g) Remove 3 Screws from the Glove Box. (Fig. 1-7) CAUTION: Sharp Metal Edges. (h) Dislodge the Glove Box. (Fig. 1-7) (i) Disconnect all Connectors from the Glove Box. (Fig. 1-8) (j) Remove the Cable Clamp from the Glove Box. (Fig. 1-8)

Preparation the Toyota Camry for installation
-Remove the driver’s side under dash, as well as the knee airbag bolts. Move the Airbag aside, but DO NOT DISCONNECT the Airbag connector in order to avoid setting any vehicle codes.
-Remove the driver’s side floor heating duct, in order to access the vehicle IMI & IMO wires easily.
The remote car starter will be installed in a conventional manner even if the car is equipped with the Smart Key “Push-to-Start” system.

2009 Toyota Corolla 1.8L Tuned air Intake System
Prior to starting the installation, remove the 2 plastic clips inside of the grill. This is an illustration to show you how to remove the front bumper. Start by removing all plastic clips and screws as shown above, once all clips and screws have been removed continue to pull the front bumper off. The two plastic clips are removed from side of the wheel well prior to pulling the bumper off. Once all plastic clips and screws have been removed, continue to pull off the bumper. Depress the tab and pull the electrical harness connector from the mass air flow sensor. The harness clip is pulled out from the air box attachment as shown above. 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Sirius Satellite Radio Tuner
Install the Antenna. (a) Clean the antenna mounting location behind the rear view mirror with approved cleaner. (Fig 3-1) Note: Mounting location must be completely dry & installation temperature must be between 60° – 100° F before mounting the antenna.
(b) Remove the 2 release tabs from the back of the antenna, and place the antenna in the proper position. (1) 1 – 4 mm just right of the mirror mount behind the rear view mirror for vehicles with EC mirror. (Fig. 3-1) (2) Centered behind the mirror for vehicles without EC mirror. (Fig. 3-2) (3) By hand firmly apply pressure upward on the antenna to assure complete wet-out of the tape pads. (Fig. 3-2)

1999-2000 Toyota Camry Radio Replacement
The plastic dash panel surrounding the radio and air conditioner controls must be unsnapped from the dash in order to gain access to the bolts which secure the radio. Pull out the ashtray at the bottom of the plastic dash panel. With your hands, grab the bottom of the plastic dash panel below the ashtray location and pull firmly until the plastic dash panel begins to unsnap from the dash. Continue to pull the dash until the sides and top of the dash panel completely unsnap from the main dash assembly. The radio is secured to the dash with four (4) 10 mm bolt screws, (1) at each side corner of the radio. Locate and remove all four bolt screws. Pull the radio out of the dash. Unplug the black cable plugged into the rear of the radio. Unplug (2) white plastic wire harness connectors snapped into the rear of the radio. The radio can now be completely removed from the dash.
