This installation guide is intended to supplement the BMW Installation Instructions to help you with the installation of the BMW Sirius Receiver for X5 (E53) with Navigation. I opted for the Terk SIR3 Low-Profile Magnetic Mount antenna and mounted it in the spoiler. As a result, this guide will not cover the installation of the BMW Sirius Satellite Antenna and you should follow the instructions supplied with the BMW Sirius Satellite Antenna Kit if you decide to go that route. I found no signal loss or weak reception with the antenna being in the spoiler and would strongly recommend if you want to be stealth and do not like the obtrusive shape of the BMW Sirius antenna on your roof.

2009 Maybach Landaulet 62S
Daimler added the Maybach Landaulet — an open-top version of its Maybach 62 S — to its lineup for 2009. Maybach will produce only a handful of the cars for a select few customers with exceptionally deep pockets.

2007 Porsche 911 Targa 4 & 4S
Porsche’s Targa concept, originally launched in 1966 and named after the storied Targa Florio race, was the first car of its type to offer all the driving sensations of a convertible without sacrificing the benefits of a solid roof. Then and now, the Targa continues to evoke a distinct cache unlike any other sports car, conveying serious sports car performance with the free-spirited thrill of open-air motoring.

As with the previous Targa model, the most striking feature of the elegant sports car is the large, sliding-glass roof and glass rear hatch, which blend sleekly into the classic 911 lines while providing the Targa with its own unique personality. A polished, anodized aluminum trim strip runs the entire length of the roof frame, emphasizing the 911’s classic silhouette.

2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe
The exterior design of the all-new 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, with its “double-bubble” roof and dramatic, unique rear styling with wrap-around taillamps reminiscent of the Viper GTS Coupe, is what sets it apart from its Convertible sibling – and connects it to the Viper heritage.

“It was important for us to sustain the emotion in the design,” said Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President, Design, Chrysler Group. “We wanted the 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe design to include a nod to the original Viper GTS Coupe, but in a contemporary way.
