Why change the Boxster S Bumpers? You fall in love with a Porsche—and start improving, modifying, and changing it until it reflects who you are. It doesn’t matter what kind of perfection you’re chasing. Porsche geekdom is one religion with many denominations: club racing, driver’s education, autocrossing, rallying, touring, preservations, concours, and socialization. 1.) Rear Leaf Springs: We strongly recommend that you increase the number of leafs in the rear main springs before you begin the installation process. In most cases we have found that these additional leafs (Dodge – 4 leafs, Chev. – 3 leafs and Ford – 2 leafs), in addition to an in-cab controlled airbag system, will be adequate in most cases. The use of an airbag system has always proven to be far more effective than additional helper/overload springs.

If it climbs to the red mark, you should determine the reason. Your car can overheat for several reasons, such as lack of coolant or a mechanical problem. The only indication may be the temperature gauge climbing to or above the red mark. Or you may sec steam or spray coming from under the hood. In either case, you should take immediate action.

Internal seal seepage or leakage has been a problem since the early 80’s. Revised seals were made available, and eventually new rack assemblies were recommended for those with worn or grooved housings, thus promoting internal leakage.
