2007 Volkswagen New Beetle Flower-Power Party
The millionth Volkswagen New Beetle will run off the production line this summer. To mark the occasion, enthusiasts from all over Europe will meet in exactly one month’s time on the New Beetle Sunshine Tour. In addition to standard models from the New Beetle and New Beetle Cabriolet range, many custom cars with special paint finishes and completely revamped bodies will be joining the parade along the Baltic coast. TIMING BELT for VOLKSWAGEN’ ‘1.8L 4-Cylinder – New Beetle – APH, AWP & AWV Engines Removal 1. Remove engine cover. Remove noise insulation pan from under engine compartment. 2. Remove air duct pipe between turbocharger and charge air cooler. See Fig. 1 . Air duct pipe is located along bottom right of cross member. 3. Mark rotation direction of serpentine drive belt. Move serpentine drive belt tensioner as shown to release tension on belt. See Fig. 2 . Secure tensioner using a drift, about .18″ (4.5 mm) x 2.2″ (55 mm). See Fig. 3 . Remove serpentine drive belt. Remove serpentine drive belt tensioner. 4. Rotate crankshaft so that No. 1 cylinder is at TDC of compression stroke. Read more

One or both power sliding doors do not work, the power sliding door indicator light is on, and DTC 25 is set.
PROBABLE CAUSES
• Loose or poor connections at ground G551, G552, G581, and G582.
• Misalignment or poor contact of the door or body junction switch pins. CORRECTIVE ACTION
• For all 1999 vehicles and 2000 vehicles thru VIN 2HKRL….YH603416, do REPAIR PROCEDURE A and REPAIR PROCEDURE B.
• For 2000 vehicles above VIN 2HKRL….YH603416 and all 2001 vehicles, do REPAIR PROCEDURE B.
REPAIR PROCEDURE A: Clean the affected grounding points, and install star washers. If this repair was done earlier, do only REPAIR PROCEDURE B.
REPAIR PROCEDURE B: Replace the door and body junction switches. Adjust both sliding doors, then align the junction switches.

Application for VOLKSWAGEN 2.0L 4-Cylinder – AEG, AVH, AZG, BDC & BEV Engines For 1998-00 model years, although the manufacturer does not recommend a specific scheduled maintenance interval, belt manufacturers suggest the belt be replaced at 60,000 mile intervals. For 2001-03 model years, the manufacturer recommends the belt be replaced at 105,000 mile intervals. NOTE: For 2004, manufacturer does not provide a timing belt replacement interval.

96-00 Honda Civil Door Panel Removal & Installation
Remove the screw from behind the interior door handle Slide out the door handle trim as shown Removing the door panel from the passenger side door View of the inside of the door, panel removed 1. Remove the screw from the door handle trim. 2. Slide the handle assembly forward and out to access the lock rod clip. 3. Release the clip 4. Disconnect the door lock switch 5. Remove the door opener handle assembly. 6. Carefully pry at the small opening on the bottom of the speaker grill. 7. Remove the speaker grille. 8. Remove the speaker mounting screws. 9. Detach the electrical connector and remove the speaker. 10. Remove the screws in the armrest. 11. Remove the center from the trim clip at the upper front of the door panel and remove the clip. 12. Using a suitable trim panel removal tool, unsnap the door panel from the door frame. 13. Carefully lift the door panel up and away from the door frame. To install: 14. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
