The Chemical gases, most of which are xenon and iodides, are filled the quartz tube of the light. Through the ballast, then the voltage of 12V DC will be increased to 23KV immediately: the electrons of the xenon in the tube will be dissociated because of the voltage swing and thus an electrical arc happens between the two poles. Before installation, the vehicle should be thoroughly inspected for evidence of corrosion or deformation of the sheet metal around the factory body mounts. This body lift kit should not be installed on any vehicle that is suspected to have been in a collision or misused. Off-road use of your vehicle with this body lift installed may increase the stress applied to the factory body mounts. We do not recommend that any vehicle with a body lift installed be involved in any extreme off-road maneuvers such as jumping. Using a measuring tape, measure the front and rear (both sides) from the ground up to the center of the fender opening above the axle. Record below for future reference.

1. Jack up rear of vehicle or raise on hoist. Support frame with safety stands. Lower axle or raise body of vehicle until suspension is fully extended.
2. Remove plastic cap from barbed stem on end of cylinder. Exhaust the air from the cylinder by rolling it up toward barbed stem on the end of the cylinder. Replace the cap on the stem to hold flattened shape.
3. Follow the steps below for the specific make of your particular vehicle.

1.) Rear Leaf Springs: We strongly recommend that you increase the number of leafs in the rear main springs before you begin the installation process. In most cases we have found that these additional leafs (Dodge – 4 leafs, Chev. – 3 leafs and Ford – 2 leafs), in addition to an in-cab controlled airbag system, will be adequate in most cases. DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY OF DIFF DROP KIT
1. Remove the 2 diff bolts on driver side differential that attach the diff housing to the frame mount. Install diff spacers (P/N C3DB) using new M12 X 1.75 X 50 bolts. This is to space the diff down ―” to improve the angle on the CV boots. See Fig. A
2. Repeat this process on the passenger side of the vehicle. Remove the 2 OEM diff nuts on passenger side differential that attach the housing to the frame. Install diff spacers (P/N C3DA) utilizing the supplied M12 x 1.75 nylon locking nuts.
