Aston Martin DBS – The New James Bond Car
James Bond fans will have to wait until November 17th 2006 to see the car in its full glory with 007 behind the wheel in “Casino Royale”, but the first sneak peaks of the new Aston Martin DBS have appeared today.
Details of the gadgets featured in the car are being kept under close wraps – but MI6 can confirm that they all reside inside the car, and are not the usual pop-up machine guns or rocket launchers. Despite the car featuring MI6 technology, Q will not appear in the film.

2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible
An obvious move to fulfill Aston Martin’s Porsche 911-fighting intentions convertible version of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage would be an obvious move to fulfill its Porsche 911-fighting intentions, but the British company has never really confirmed it will build one. As these spy shots by our shooter so deep underground that he’s anonymous show, it’s on. This convertible Aston Martin was spied just a few days ago while the sedately disguised convertible was out for an early evening romp. Expected as a model-year-2007 car, it would make most sense to be unveiled at the Paris, Los Angeles, or Detroit auto show, and launch in the States by spring of next year. Like its coupe sibling, the convertible gets the Jaguar AJ-V8-derived 380-horsepower 4.3-liter twin-cam, 32-valve V-8 and an aluminum/composite body.
2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage was launched to critical acclaim at the 2005 Geneva Motor show. The Vantage is manufactured at Aston Martin’s Headquarters at London, Warwickshire, UK, a facility that combines Aston Martin’s renowned hand-built bespoke attributes with the technology required to manufacture the bonded aluminium VH architecture.

2007 Ruben Vela Aston Martin DB-ONE
The DB-ONE Concept is a proposal for an extreme Aston Martin, with a design of that combines the classical style typical of Aston Martin’s sportscars with ultramodern surfaces, to get as a result “a fresh vehicle that also represents all the tradition of the brand.”
The author is Ruben Vela, a Spanish designer who received a Master Degree in Automotive Design in 2006 at the Polytechnic University in Valencia.

2008 Aston Martin DBS V’s DBR9
The DBS adopts a series of race-derived materials and components, taking inspiration from the successful DBR9. The DBS is powered by an Aston Martin 6.0-litre V12 an enhanced version of which is used in both the DBR9 and DBRS9 race cars. The shared powerplant continues the strong link between Aston Martin’s road and race cars, just as the six-cylinder engine used in the DBR1 inspired a generation of engines in the DB4, DB5 and DB6 in the 1950s and 60s.

2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400
Aston Martin is not only showing the DBS for the first time in Europe at the Frankfurt motor show next week but will also showcase two new special editions – the Aston Martin DB9 LM and the V8 Vantage N400. Both special editions draw inspiration from the company’s recent achievements at Le Mans and the Nurburgring 24-hour races.
The V8 Vantage N400 commemorates Aston Martin’s achievements at the Nurburgring where the company enjoyed success in the gruelling ADAC 24-hour race with the V8 Vantage N24 production race car. Aston Martin develops and tests all of its road cars extensively on the Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit and the Vantage N400 recently broke the eight minute benchmark around the legendary 14-mile circuit.

2008 Aston Martin Design Studio
The elegant modern pavilion, designed by the Weedon Partnership in collaboration with Austrian pre-fabrication specialists Holzbau Saurer, has been built using the latest construction technology and is a showcase for environmentally sustainable design. The architecture is modern and uncompromising, making extensive use of structural wood and large expanses of glass. The modular wooden structure has been sourced from managed forests in Austria and Switzerland. The studio has taken just six months to build and only 12 months to complete from its design conception to realisation.
