Aston Martin DBS – The New James Bond Car

James Bond fans will have to wait until November 17th 2006 to see the car in its full glory with 007 behind the wheel in “Casino Royale”, but the first sneak peaks of the new Aston Martin DBS have appeared today.
Details of the gadgets featured in the car are being kept under close wraps – but MI6 can confirm that they all reside inside the car, and are not the usual pop-up machine guns or rocket launchers. Despite the car featuring MI6 technology, Q will not appear in the film.

2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Convertible

An obvious move to fulfill Aston Martin’s Porsche 911-fighting intentions convertible version of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage would be an obvious move to fulfill its Porsche 911-fighting intentions, but the British company has never really confirmed it will build one. This convertible Aston Martin was spied just a few days ago while the sedately disguised convertible was out for an early evening romp. Expected as a model-year-2007 car, it would make most sense to be unveiled at the Paris, Los Angeles, or Detroit auto show, and launch in the States by spring of next year. Like its coupe sibling, the convertible gets the Jaguar AJ-V8-derived 380-horsepower 4.3-liter twin-cam, 32-valve V-8 and an aluminum/composite body.

2008 Aston Martin DBS V’s DBR9

The DBS adopts a series of race-derived materials and components, taking inspiration from the successful DBR9. The DBS is powered by an Aston Martin 6.0-litre V12 an enhanced version of which is used in both the DBR9 and DBRS9 race cars. 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400

2008 Aston Martin Design Studio

The elegant modern pavilion, designed by the Weedon Partnership in collaboration with Austrian pre-fabrication specialists Holzbau Saurer, has been built using the latest construction technology and is a showcase for environmentally sustainable design. The modular wooden structure has been sourced from managed forests in Austria and Switzerland.
